In the years since Nilsson’s essay was published, the images have been widely appropriated without his permission. Antiabortion activists in particular have used them to advance their cause. Nilsson arranged the fetuses so they appeared to be floating as if in the womb. In the accompanying story, LIFE explained that all but one of the fetuses pictured were photographed outside the womb and had been removed—or aborted—“for a variety of medical reasons.” Nilsson had struck a deal with a hospital in Stockholm, whose doctors called him whenever a fetus was available to photograph.

When LIFE published Lennart Nilsson’s photo essay “Drama of Life Before Birth” in 1965, the issue was so popular that it sold out within days. And for good reason. Nilsson’s images publicly revealed for the first time what a developing fetus looks like, and in the process raised pointed new questions about when life begins.

Review of 2 articles on Canon Lens Experience

Wildlife photography is mentioned images of prancing deer, soaring birds, or attacking tigers instantly come to mind. The inherent fascination of photographing things beyond man’s domestication and control will forever be captivating however, the challenge of separating simple photographs of wildlife from photographs that convey a story of that wildlife is what separates the successful images from the rest of the pack. Photographing wildlife extends beyond tracking and photographing different species. There are few places anywhere on earth as spectacular as the American Southwest and the Grand Canyon, and it’s because of the colorful rock formations and unique geological history that has exposed the rock layers in such dramatic fashion. And a raft trip down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon is one of life’s greatest experiences. The lens that they use is a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM.
This may sound a little extreme, and it would be for a novice, but Paul Bowen has more than 40 years of experience controlling his exposures and guiding teams of aviators in order to capture an unabated view of both aircraft and broad, expansive, scenic contextual views. The other key issue Bowen deals with is the sheer temperature in which he is forced to photograph at such altitudes. “The other problem is the cold it gets colder by about three and a half degrees for every 1,000 feet going up. So if a sunrise shoot and it’s 50 degrees on the ground, and you go up 10,000 feet to shoot, all of a sudden its 30-35 degrees colder and you’re in some pretty cold air. You’ve got the doors or the windows off, so now you’ve got a wind-chill whipping around inside the airplane and it’s below freezing. It’s a very uncomfortable environment. Add the vibration and motion to the whole thing and that just compounds the difficulty.

William Kentridge - Drawing for 'Other Faces', 2011, charcoal and colored pencil on on paper
This art piece cot my eye because it looks like he’s trying to prove his point to something he didn’t do. It looks like they blaming him for many thing and it may be because of his skin color. Also looks like he’s in court and this was the first one that cot my eye this art piece is amazing.
